Day 2 involved two hike and glides (after some road walking) to reach the Wagrain turn point 2 with wet shoes, ready for breakfast with my supporters, before a hot ascent up a skifield to a cross country launch. Here I managed a decent cross country flight but landed short of Aschau turn point 3, a victim to the valley winds. I managed a buoyant evening flight before camping on the shores of the Walchsee, poised for a hike and glide toward Aschau the next morning.
